In response to the developing situation relating to the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) outbreak and advice from the UK Government and Healthcare Regulatory bodies, Vision Surgery is taking the move to immediately cease all elective non urgent surgery & outpatient clinics until the beginning of July 2020. We shall however be available for eye emergencies & urgent care.
We believe this is the right thing to do for the following reasons
- Keep our patients safe and away from avoidable risk
- Protect vulnerable patients from the Corona virus
- Reduce the chances of virus spread and “flatten the curve”
- Secure medical resources to fight the virus pandemic
It is critical that you are not exposed to avoidable risks for your own safety. We regret the inconvenience caused and hope that you will understand and appreciate the unprecedented situation we all find ourselves in.
Our administrative office is open and we shall continue to take ‘phone calls, emails and communication through our website.
